Model 540

SEMI-AUTOMATIC LIQUID FILLING
AND CAPPING

Ideal for start-up, short-run and pilot-plant operations, Model
540 offers the same innovation and quality as our fully automatic system, but puts them in an economical semi-
automaric package. The 540 bridges the gap between hand operated machines and fully automatic Chase-Logeman monoblocks.

Ease of Operation

• Easy to operate and change over. Only one operator required. Caps are hand-placed onto filled container
  prior to tightening to a preset torque.
• Dedicated change parts fit into place and are fastened
  with simple tools. (Optional "quick-change" tooling
  eliminates the need for tools.)
• Without stopping the machine, a simple "on-the-fly"
  adjustment changes the applied torque value for screw caps.
• Control panel is simple to use and easily accessible
  from the operator workstation. Less essential controls
  are located on a separate set-up panel.
• Entire system mounted on rugged welded steel frame
  with operator footrest and leg recess, stainless steel
  enclosure and top plate. All stainless steel frame is available.
• Can be customized for in-line operation.

Added Features

• Rotary unscrambler and accumulator built in.
• Small footprint saves valuable floor space.
• All metal, liquid-product contact parts are fabricated of type
  316L stainless steel.
• Fail-safe sensor detect the absence of containers and/or caps.
• No container/no fill, no cap/no torque.
