FILLING
Piston Pump

Perhaps the most widely used type of positive
displacement filling, the piston pump will handle most
types of filling applications.

They are designed to repetitively dispense preset
volumes of fluids with a high degree of accuracy ( +0.5%),
or better, depending on product). They are
interchangeable, up to the rated capacity of the filler.
Filling units are available in a wide variety of models for
filling any liquid or semi-liquid that will flow through a
tube. The volume to be dispensed is pre-set by adjusting
the micrometer volume control.

Filling units are available in standard and sanitary
models. All metal product contact parts are fabricated of
type 316 stainless steel (the preferred grade of stainless
steel for use with pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and food
substances) and are electropolished for optimum
chemical resistance.
