FILLING
Rolling Diaphragm Pump

These filling units are designed to provide "zero
particulate" volumetric filling of liquids with accuracy to
+1/4% or better, depending on product and application.

Just like a piston pump, the volume to be dispensed is
pre-set by adjusting the micrometer volume control. The
pump works by using a rolling diaphragm which isolates
the piston head from the cylinder wall, thereby eliminating
frictional contact between the two components. This
minimizes the possibility of particulate generation, thus
making it ideal for use in pharmaceutical applications.

The rolling diaphragm series pump can handle a wide
range of product viscosities, from water-thin to viscous.
Tri-Clover construction makes it possible to disassemble
the filling unit in seconds. All metal parts in contact with
the product are fabricated of type 316 stainless steel (the
preferred grade of stainless steel for use with
pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and food substances) and
are electropolished for optimum chemical resistance.
